I had to take apart my first system to redo the watercooling loop and upgraded to 3.40 BIOS and 1.27 BMC. Was able to update the BIOS through the web interface without any issues.

I'm talking with support again, I asked them to check IPMI BIOS changes not sticking with BIOS 3.50.
I've also asked if they can add SAM/Resizable BAR to the BIOS for a little extra GPU boost, let's see if they're able to do it.

I was given a BIOS to test Resizable BAR, L3.52.
I have CSM disabled, Above 4G-decoding enabled, SR-IOV enabled, Resizable BAR enabled.
It works when booting bare-metal, but I'm not able to get it to work in KVM/QEMU, the card doesn't initialize and I get blank screen. The host shows the card as well as nvidia-smi tool, but VM won't boot.
Same VM boots fine when I turn off Resizable BAR, all other BIOS settings are untouched.
If anyone is interested in testing, feel free to contact William Lee from ASRock,

And btw, all the issues I had, or thought I had, were my fault.
The boot process (Unraid) jumps between the on-board VGA and one of the GPUs.
I have disabled CSM, boot UEFI.
Also, if I update the BIOS (still on v3.50) via IPMI and reboot, the changes stick.

Its great to see this legendary man still works at Asrock, William did help me a lot with EPYCD8 boards in the past too, including also arranging a free shipping for bigger and pre-loaded SPI chips for BIOS.

Yep, he helped me quite a lot, including shipping a replacement BMC chip that I broke a leg off of, as well with the RMA process I endured back in September.

On another note, I'm struggling with IPMI, when I edit BIOS settings they don't stick, I change a setting in the webpage:

View attachment 26323

From 'PCI Express' to 'Onboard'.

I then go to to Exit BIOS menu and click Save Changes:
View attachment 26324

What am I doing wrong? How do I make BIOS configuration changes via IPMI webpage and make them stick during next boot?

https://192.168.1.253/bios/Index.html is where I go to make the changes. I already enabled the 'Sync' toggle in the main IPMI webpage (https://192.168.1.253/#dashboard).

Thanks!
Hi. I also have romed8-2t board, but didn't find this remote bios setup. How did you open it? Sorry for the offtop.

Hey Glad I found this Thread was having the same issue with my GPU and this board. Turned on CSM and set Video OpRom to UEFI Only and it managed to get video out through my GPU! You guys really helped me a lot thank you!
