I currently use a RTX2060 in my worstation, and I'm pondering getting an ARC B580 so I can get rid of the nvidia driver on linux.. I dont do gaming, just workstation-stuff...

Poking around in the BIOS, I see nothing related to ReBar size, not even the typical "Above 4G" setting...

Does anyone know if that can work? I use the "latest" (?) firmware version: P3.70

I am running a Milan chip in that same board with the latest bios and swear those settings are there and work, I am running proxmox doing pcie passthrough with rtx 4000 ada to a VM for AI stuff on that particular box.

ASRock Rack usualy does not update the BIOS DL links
You have to beg and plead for a new BIOS.
3.70 does not have resiable Bar,
in 3.74 is see an option but it can be suppressed/grayed out.
try this, if not work ask ASRock Rack support:

Thanks! Will try that later. I think with the push Intel makes for these GPU it is a bit sad to have to plead to have basic support for them!

Happy to report it worked. Option appeared in BIOS, and it is automatically enabled. Havent tried the new GPU tho, a bit late here to do desk diving :)

I also noticed this bios shows ipv6 config for the NICs, so likely support v6 netboot.

Victory! Took some hacking, as my base debian install was crashing silently -- turns out the nvidia driver doesn't like being loaded with some other GPU online... So after some arm twisting, system mirroring etc etc I cleaned it up and it's all up and running now...

I will report any more findings on this thread
