Hey all,

I picked up a used X10SLL-F (LGA1150) that has an older bios that doesnt recognize my CPU (Pentium G3260T).

I'm reaching out to Supermicro to get an evaluation key for out-of-band bios updates so I can update the bios via IPMI/SUM.

BUT, I'm not sure I'll have any luck with getting the evaluation key, so I'm also looking to borrow a first-run Haswell Pentium/Celeron/i3 that will let me update the bios.

Specific models that should work:
  • i3-4130
  • i3-4330
  • i3-4340
  • i3-4360
  • Celeron G1820
  • Celeron G1820T
  • Celeron G1830
  • Pentium G3220
  • Pentium G3220T
  • Pentium G3420
  • Pentium G3420T
  • Pentium G3430
Let me know what you have, I'm happy to pay shipping back and forth.

Hi, this is not exactly what you are looking for, but I have an EEPROM programmer that likely can reprogram your BIOS chip directly. I would just need you to verify that A) it's removable and B) what the part number on it is. Alternatively, you could buy a second one from digikey and have it shipped to me to be programmed. Let me know if you would be interested in something like this.
