Except for the VGA, I think the mb works. I have cleared the BIOS, tried different CPUs, different memory, different vga monitors and cables.
The MB boots and the fans scream. I get one beep and then in about 60 seconds the fans slow down.

I checked the VGA jumper (JPG1) and no matter which pins are covered, no VGA output.

No one knows the BMC pwd or config.
Has anyone created a boot CD with a auto-batch file that uses ipmicg to reset the BMC to defaults?

Some time ago I got hold of X9SCA-F board with similar symptoms.
Disabled BMC and VGA started working.
Tried to get BMC firmware dump using EEPROM programmer without success, it turned out the BMC flash chip was dead.
Replaced BMC firmware chip and the board worked ok for many years until it got upgraded.

It was combination of very old BIOS and BMC. Got a V1 proc. and was able to get VGA output.
Reset BMC and updated it and BIOS. It now works with my V2 procs.

I guess there is a reason to hold onto some old hardware. ;)
