Remove ONIE and install MLNX-OS

Can somebody help with how to install MLNX-OS with ONIE installed on SN2xxx switch ? I have onyx-xxx.img file but it is not possible to install using onie-nos-install (this is not that format).

It seems that you need a different image, xxx-installer.bin, and then an upgrade using the latest onyx-xxx.img.

Yes I know these docs, it seems that I need to have onyx onie installer (so it is bin file) but I don't know how to create it from img onyx software file.

IIrc MLX img file were just zip archives, maybe you can unzip it and check if it contains the installation binary?

Yeah I did it, but now it is not there is tgz file and when you untar this one you have mount points of OS

I did not find any bin in the Mellanox customer portal? Maybe you have where to find it? I have a Partner status of MLNX.

You could try X86_64-3.6.5000-installer.bin (or just ask Mellanox Support for the latest Onyx ONIE installer, if you have an active status)
