Hi
I currently use some of these cheaply priced Mellanox ConnectX-2 cards from eBay and while they have been working great, I recently switched my primary workstation from a Z87-based system with a Core i7 4770 over to a AMD X570 R9-3900X based system.
On this new system, I have not been able to get thee cards to work on the system, even with CSM enabled. Updating to 2.10.720 firmware did also not work
They do however work fine in other UEFI-capable systems like my HPe Microserver Gen10 and my Dell R720xd.

So I am currently on the lookout for a card that will work on AMD X570 platforms and deliver 10G over SFP+ at a reasonable price

I'm running a ConnectX-3 on my X370, so I reckon it should work just as well on an X570. They're also available dirt cheap from the usual sources.

I have found some ConnectX-3 cards, but they have different model numbers. Would you mind sharing what model number you have, so that I can find the same model of card

I have an MCX311A-XCAT, the basic single-port 10GbE / pcie 3.0 x4 card.

I just picked up one of these for an x570 build, since the board supports 16x / 4x. The Intel x520 line is older, and runs at 8x/pci-e 2.0.
