I bought this 2400W PSU for my T630 think it would accept it even if I stayed low on the voltage.
Result: It works in my T640 but not in my T630 (it doesn't even powerup).

On 110V, the 2400W PSU is the only PSU which provides -more- wattage than the 1100W PSU:

On 110V/120V, the Wattage for the various Dell PSUs are:
1100W: Derated to 1050W
1600W: Derated to... 800W!!!!
2000W: Derated to 1000W
2400W: Derated to 1400W

On 220V/240V these PSUs provide the rated wattage. So on 110W only the 2400W PSU exceeds the capacity of the 1100W capacity but it requires different connectors.

Asking 135USD + Shipping. (price from Dell is over 350USD)

I think that 1100w spec is a fluke though as most power supplies are much less on 110/120v and it's hard to believe that it would only drop 50w.

It is possible that the 1100w PSU is made for 110/230V at full power. Just at 110V it might slightly miss the 80PLUS (Platinum, Gold, or whatever it is rated for) efficiency so the specs need to be tweaked a little.

Technically, it is not difficult/expensive to make the primary (high voltage) side of the PSU take lower-voltage input and still deliver the same full power. The secondary (12V-5V-3.3V) side is a lot more costly regardless of the input voltage. But, using 110V does generate a lot more heat, making it quite expensive to get the Platinum-ish efficiency for >1500w. It happens a lot in consumer PSUs that manufacturer makes a solid xxx watts PSU and rate to 70% to pass 80 PLUS for easier marketing. I do not follow server PSU as much, though. A load-tester review can easily figure it out, if there is any review like that.

In the end, I ended up returning it to the seller to get a refund so it's not available anymore.
