Hey all, I picked up one of these back in April 2025, and it's been working pretty well up until two days ago. Initially took a bit of fiddling to get dual channel 2x16GB 2400MHz ECC memory up and running (had to move frequency down to 2133).

I've been running Ubuntu 26.04 on the system and updated to 7.0.0-31, only to find it freeze after the bootloader. After powering off and restarting, the UEFI cleared on its own. I replaced the original CMOS battery (which measured at 1.5V when plugged in to the RTC header). Now, whenever the wall power is removed, the UEFI clears. Has anyone else had this issue? I already verified that the new battery is at 3.1V from the RTC header.
I did not experience this issue on my Qotom system, but it’s worth double-checking the RTC header pinout. Sometimes plugging in a cable with reversed red and black leads causes motherboard clamping diodes to conduct, dragging the voltage down to ~1.2V–1.5V and rapidly draining the cell when the wall power is removed.

Hello all, I have a pair of Q20332G9s that have been working wonderfully for me for the past 9 months, and I've recently decided to try adding a LTE modem to the M.2 B-key slot to provide backup cellular connectivity in the rare occasion my main ISP goes down. Unfortunately, I've encountered quite a bit of difficulty understand what should be compatible with the B-key slots in this device.

I so far have tried both a Quectel EC25-E and a Quectel EM120R-GL, two modems I have on hand, but neither have worked in either of the Q20332G9s I have. Nothing is visible in lspci or lsusb for either modem, and the dmesg output on boot doesn't indicate anything having changed when installing the modems.

Does anyone have experience with this same model of Qotom device and has had success installing a cellular modem to the B-key slot? I would greatly appreciate if you could let me know a model of modem that has worked for you.

Thanks in advance.

The Qotom specification site makes it seem like there isn't a difference with pinout for the C3758 and C3758R systems, so this other thread may be relevant to your question.

I thought I recalled this little piece of information! The M.2 b-key shares lanes with the other M.2 storage ports on the non-R models. You have a non-R model. Take a look at this:

Looks like Qotom now has an updated model (QDNV02) that swaps the i226 ports for X540 ports.
Or X550 in the case of the Q20300UE model it seems, unless I'm reading this wrong:

I have the Q20332G9, 1 NVME and 2 2tb SSD, I tried adding a hard drive enclosure using the SFF8087 port but the hard drives are not showing, tried on Proxmox, also booted into Mint, Debian and still the same, the enclosure does work on another system attached to a LSI card.

Is there anything specific I need to do in the BIOS to activate the SFF8087 port?

I looked in the SATA section but did not see anything.

Thanks
