My 25g card has broken firmware, that is missing vpd of the card. It can not set link speed to 10g in windows driver. I dont have 25g switch so both card can link together via a 25g dac.

Hi,

I wanted to grab QLogic QL45212HLCU, but spotted on ebay few sellers from Asia selling QLogic QL45252TLCU, for significantly lower price and include the tall bracket (which I might to need).

The issue is I cannot find any documentation on what QL45252TLCU exactly is and what chip it is using (I am sure it is QL54212.

I analyzed photos and PCB, and they are 99% identical. The only differences: silkscreen is slightly different in one corner, and the sticker say it is Assembled in Malaysia, instead of Assembled in USA. Both PCB design from 2015.

Does anybody know any details? I will be using this on Linux, so no issues with driver, but lack of information on QL45252 is little weird.

Did you ever find out more about this card? It's not in ESXi HCL which might be a deal-breaker for me, unless it can be used with the 45212 driver.
