Hi All,

Does anyone know whether recent QLogic drivers are able to work on Windows 10? Typically drivers are fairly compatible between Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016/2019 (e.g. Mellanox drivers work fine) - but QLogic appears to fail to start in qebdrv:

Device PCI\VEN_1077&DEV_1644&SUBSYS_00481077&REV_10\4&31024d2f&0&0018 had a problem starting.

Driver Name: oem27.inf
Class Guid: {4d36e97d-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}
Service: qebdrv
Lower Filters:
Upper Filters:
Problem: 0xA
Problem Status: 0xC0000001

Note: I did enable SR-IOV, and Above 4G Decoding is also enabled in the BIOS.

My intuition is that this is a Win10 specific issue and these will work fine in Windows Server 2016/2019; but, if anyone else has any concrete information, it would be much appreciated!

The answer here was to update the firmware to latest on a different system where it was recognized, and then move it into the system where it was failing. It works well now.

Was the system that recognized the card running the server OS?

I don't fully recall (it was several months ago). I think I got flashing to work on a client OS machine, but I'm only 95% sure of that now :) What I can say for sure is that I've had several systems (both client and server) which have refused to see these cards unless they had the proper firmware installed.
