Hey guys,
I got another drive for my ZOL pool for christmas. When adding it to my pool however, I made the amazing mistake of not specifying my raidz2, so it just added it as a raw disk to the pool. Naturally, I can't remove it since no replication for it exists, but no data has been written to it (and if data had I'd be okay with losing it if necessary).
Is there any way to remove the raw disk from the pool and re-add it to the raid-z2? The drive in question is the ata-WDC_WD30EFRX-68EUZN0_WD-WCC4N0279783.
I'm expecting I'm going to have to destroy and re-create this pool, which i've ordered drives for and am prepared to do, but in the interest of my sanity, I figured i'd ask around first. Maybe there's a way I'm just not aware of.
