PowerEdge C6100 - DELL PERC H310 RAID controller?

If I install a Dell H310 Array controller and plug it into the interconnect which is nothing more than a pass through will I not be able to increase the performance to 6G from te integrated or available 3G MEZZ card?
I know the LSI 2008 MEZZ is also available which is 6G but have the 10GbE's in the MEZZ so I cant use it.

Yeah, that should work fine. The H310 is a LSI 2008 chip.

I've had just a ton of different LSI cards in my C6100 and they have all worked fine. You can run the cables from the adapter into the mid-plane (where the default SATA cables are run) and get 6GB/sec without issues.

You can also shove an Intel 750 in the C6100's as well We have a couple sleds outfitted with them and they work great. So you should be able to fit any half-height half-length (HHHL) cards you want into it.
