Hi,

I have a client I am specing whitebox servers for who has highlighted an interest in having their company logo /details come up on the initial boot splash screen. The boards are Supermicro X9SCL-Fs and I have not found anything on Supermicros site regarding this.

Anyone done it (pref without hacking Bios files) ?.

Thanks
RB

I have read about this but do not remember if it was Supermicro that allowed this. Possibly you can contact them. SM does a lot of whitebox stuff so I bet there is a way.

I know Asus lets you do this on their consumer boards. Could be worth trying their application. If they are the same BIOS format, I would say there is a good chance the image is in the same location.

Just tried on my father's Z8NA-D6. The program is Asus Updater, I got it by searching for Sabertooth X58 Utilities on their support site. The program looks for an AMI BIOS file. I dont have a Supermicro to try it on, but I believe they use AMI BIOS'.
