Hasn't pfSense been on ARM for over a year now? I've had a small site running on an APU2C4 since early last fall.

I was told pfsense 2.4 is going to be primetime for ARM. Is the APU2C4 ARM based?

Oh - my mistake. APU2C4 is AMD Jaguar (IA, not ARM). Wasn't even paying close attention with my own toys!

No, the Alix APU's are all AMD based. I have used AMD Geode based Alix.2D3 with pfSense from 2009 (and it's still up and running as of this moment), and from 2015 AMD T40E base Alix.1D2 and Alix.1D4... they are truly wonderful small machines. And they are available for roughly $180 (maybe less, it's just numerical conversion based on current exchange rate), yet they are surely more powerful than an ARM machine. They are larger, and would consume more, though...
