According to SM support, I need RSC-RR1U-E8 riser cards and MCP-240-00091-0N riser card brackets to add PCIe cards to my Avoton 1U servers. Looking on ebay, I see that the riser card is available in different revisions. Should I stick with the latest revision? Does SM do revisions in response to errata? Is there SM documentation on the matter?

the rev. must fit with the bracket. different rev. have different mounting holes , solid caps instead of electrolyt and so on.....
