Just finished installing the last part of my slightly updated workstation:

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K
GPU: 2x EVGA GTX 470
RAM: 4x 4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz CL9
Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 Pro
NIC: Intel Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter
SSDs: 2x OCZ Vertex 128GB with GC + TRIM firmware
Water cooling: 2x DangerDen FC GTX 470 Blocks, Danger Den MC-TDX, Triple 120mm fan radiator
Optical: LG Blu Ray, Lite-On DVD
Power Supply: Corsair HX1000 (CMPSU-1000HX)
Chassis:
Coolermaster Cosmos S

Will add pictures soon (still leak testing.) The Sandy Bridge items are replacing the old X58 rig.

Very cool 5.05GHz!

cactus, I did decide against it. I think I am going to just RAID 0 two Gen 3 drives. I would actually get the Corsair P3 drives except that I would ideally get 2x 256GB drives and want prices to fall a bit.

Nitro: see CPU-Z above... and that is with all settings on AUTO on the P8P67 Pro except memory on the XMP, base clock from 100 to 103 and multiplier at 49. Wildly easy and has not crashed once even trying to throw whatever I can at it.

Dangerden! Oh my Patrick, how could you? Out of curiosity what radiator did you go with?

I have some triple 120mm radiator from about 2.5 years ago :)

Frankly the GTX 470's are leaf blowers and need water cooling. The noise on high-end cards is getting to the point where heatsinks/ fans detract from the user experience.

Couldn't agree more, I only ran my 470 on air for about 2 hours before I put it under water. Once you get wet you never go back :)
