Does anyone know a tool to low level USB drives? With 128GB now $30 or so, I'd like to overprovision them to 32/64GB to boot from. I can't seem to find a tool to do it.

I asked about this in another thread I believe the replies were along the lines of 'no benefit' to do that for USB drives.

I'd be interested to see what else you find :)

Aside from logs being written back to the boot drive, there should be minimal writes to a boot disk. ESXi reads from the boot media and then runs in memory.
