Change from /4 to /2 on p0 state and redo multipler to 32 probably 1.181 volts. Called fid did and voltage for amd

Thanks! I'll try tomorrow and report back. I tried /8 /6 /5 /4, all had the same max multiplier so didn't go further down that alley.

Edit: it worked, runs at 3,5GHz @ 1.1V, pulling 270-290W full load for Cinebench. Won't be pushing further in fear of damaging the VRM. Seems like a good chip :)

Edit2: max stable so far is 3,1GHz @ 1.025V with Prime95, which will be my 24/7 clock. VRM's are 40-50C but can't measure properly.

All that power to play OSRS, I like this man.

Edit: Just noticed the client. Bot farm incoming I see :D
Just needed some load on the cpu :) regarding overclock, actually have to check how to apply the clock. I think it is a good chip tho. It's 7551 ES 2S1905A4VIHF4 1.9GHz

Awesome sleeper build, what CPU are you rocking in there (a 7551P?) and what clocks did you get?

Goals we're reached today, i had to beat that poor 60 core. I crashed on 3.9ghz, maybe i can try some different settings once i got more sufficient cooling.

Edit: Something interesting perhaps? Am i drawing 1000watts here? If so, above 3.8 may be related to drawing over 1000watts?

I get the same error in HWInfo where it shows ~1000W, check the power consumption you see when you scroll down a bit. I expect something more like 400-450W which is still a metric f*ckton. :D

Check your stability and temps in Prime95 with blended load, you'll probably have to turn it down a notch. Then again I didn't feel like pushing over 300W through my VRM's. What motherboard is that?
What do you get on cinebench R15?

Where do i get cinebench R15, couldn't easily find it. Also installing the eisbear extreme 280mm cpu cooler now.

Edit: Installed eisbear cooler, better temps!
I still could not get it to 3.9ghz and do cinebench, maybe on other loads it will be fine? i will try going higher but not doing cinebench. Just other load, normal but high usage load.

HWInfo shows like 23000 Watts for me. Kind of crazy lol.

cine r20 is now the latest ,but I have zero comparison numbers there.
Cinebench - R15 overclocking records @ HWBOT can find r15 here...
I will get some Cinebench R15 results in a bit, trying to figgure out now why Discord seems slow. Basically only discord and i believe it has to do with some hardware acceleration, virtualisation of cpu but that's all enabled.

The videocard i have in however does not have the right drivers w5100 seems a bit unsupported. The card is a bit older but should still work, i had it working in a hp z620.

Would you mind show how do you get it working on a dual cpu linux host? just one command?

thanks!
Sorry for replying this late

Well i just installed zenstates and ran
Code:
python zenstates.py -p0 -f 20 -d 2 -v 3A --c6-disable
Code:
usage: zenstates.py [-h] [-l] [-p {0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7}] [--enable] [--disable] [-f FID] [-d DID] [-v VID]

Sets P-States for Ryzen processors

optional arguments:
-h, --help show this help message and exit
  -l, --list List all P-States
  -p {0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7}, --pstate {0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7}
                       P-State to set
  --enable Enable P-State
  --disable Disable P-State
-f FID, --fid FID FID to set (in hex)
-d DID, --did DID DID to set (in hex)
-v VID, --vid VID VID to set (in hex)
  --c6-enable Enable C-State C6
  --c6-disable Disable C-State C6
In order to get 3.4Ghz@1.187V on P-sates 0 on both CPUs

Ok thanks!, I've got 7551's but don't want overclock much since CPUs are always at 100% all threads.

I've started changing the multiplier to 22 and nothing else. Killawatt shows an increase in power so it seems that worked but cpufreq, cpupower report actually a lower cpu freq.

default values:
P0 - Enabled - FID = 64 - DID = A - VID = 5E - Ratio = 20.00 - vCore = 0.96250
P1 - Enabled - FID = 60 - DID = C - VID = 63 - Ratio = 16.00 - vCore = 0.93125
P2 - Enabled - FID = 60 - DID = 10 - VID = 69 - Ratio = 12.00 - vCore = 0.89375
P3 - Disabled
P4 - Disabled
P5 - Disabled
P6 - Disabled
P7 - Disabled
C6 State - Package - Disabled
C6 State - Core - Enabled

and after changing multiplier to 22
P0 - Enabled - FID = 6E - DID = A - VID = 5E - Ratio = 22.00 - vCore = 0.96250
P1 - Enabled - FID = 60 - DID = C - VID = 63 - Ratio = 16.00 - vCore = 0.93125
P2 - Enabled - FID = 60 - DID = 10 - VID = 69 - Ratio = 12.00 - vCore = 0.89375
P3 - Disabled
P4 - Disabled
P5 - Disabled
P6 - Disabled
P7 - Disabled
C6 State - Package - Disabled
C6 State - Core - Enabled

How do you monitor the actual clocks?.

Thanks!
