Did I win the Silicon lottery?

Now I need to put this thing under water. I can't wait for my other dimms, only running 2 right now.
Screenshot was after running blenderbench 4 times in a row.

Windows 10 Nero probably have better info he has single cpu setup both of ours our supermicro boards think vrms are 4 70amps each cpu. I would stay there for a bit at 3.5ghz that's over 5000 cinebench r15 enjoy your 2990wx!

Anyone has any information regarding a motherboard and bios version to choose to get a ZPAB (A1 stepping) engineering sample to post?

I'm maxing out at like 4666 score, that's with Performance Bias set to Cinebench R15/AIDA64. Is your score with that enabled? Or is it because I'm only running two sticks of ram, and not four.

Using less channels hurts performance a little bit (in cinebench), but the problem is also windows. Try playing around with the tool coreprio and local dynamic mode.

Update about the USB005:

I got my own blank silabs chip working as USB005, but the chinese dev board with the similar chip doesn't seem to work. I don't plan to put more time into getting the dev board to work, only getting the same chip to work was already a huge pain in the arse... I'm now waiting for some lqfp to dip PCBs to make a proper "prototype"

Edit:

Nevermind, chinese devboard is up and running as usb005! 2 resistors may need to be added on the board, because the circuit is completly different.

I wish I did. Good luck on your endeavor.
I have an AMD EPYC 7551 ES 2S1905A4VIHF4 coming in soon but i also have two of these:

In hopes to ever find out how to successfully post these, or they will be mementos.

Try a stick of 2400 registered ecc ram first before trying 2666 ram don't try 2133 till it's posted with 2400 first all I have for you with older supermicro bios

Is that normal that after reaching 80°C on the VRM my system completely freeze ?
I expect it to throttle but it doesnt, it just completely freeze...
I've already set some lower P-states and change the windows power plan back to normal but it do nothing

Here's my P-States settingsdd.PNG
I've ordered a 40mm noctua fan in order to cool down the VRM
Already tried with Core performance boost enabled/disabled, same result

Yep might be I had same setting had to back off to 3.2g with that voltage. I checked c6 core and performance boost didn't seem to matter. 3.4g at 1.181v I can't pass cinibench r20 blackscreens.i have a fan on my vrm heatsink and Nero made a water block for his but vrm temps and power the weak link. you should watch der8auer overclock videos to see those vrms cook! My vrms stay at 71 Max at 3.2g that voltage just use p0 state and high performance Windows profile.bios settings all auto but I use power determination setting 8650 cinebench 2 7501 retail.

I've got my 7401P running at 3.0GHz, but whatever I set higher than that seems to get ignored.
I can put a higher voltage which increased the power usage but doesn't affect the clocks (doesn't seem tdp limited, cTDP was set to 300 in bios).
It seems stable running at 1.0V, at which it uses a bit less than 200W on Cinebench.

Anyone knows how to get past that limit?
