there is no SAS Expander Chip on it , so its a 1on1 Connection, no matter SAS1 or SAS2

Its clearly an "A" series backplane, as advertised. No expander, SAS2 rated, etc. 24 separate connections via 6 4-lane 8087 cables. These are actually kinda rare on the used market as most older 846 backplanes are "TQ" (24 separate SAS/SATA cables) and newer ones are built with an embedded expander.

In any case, its sold.

It was an A backplane. I'm the one who snagged it to replace a TQ backplane I have.
