Hi! I've recently purchased H11DSI-NT motherboard with 2x amd epyc 7551 installed.

I run it with 8 sticks of RAM installed (I've tried different configurations as per manual with no result)

JPG1 is set to the `enable` position (as per user manual)

LED3 is green and I can access an IPMI but there's no video signal on integrated VGA port (also iKVM/HTML5 option from IPMI doesn't show an image).

I've already tried updating IPMI firmware, BIOS (currently it's of versoin 3.3) and reset everything to the factory settings, but still no results.

I've also tried to set a boot mode to the `USB KEY` and reboot but it doesn't even read the usb drive.

Any ideas what can be wrong with my build?

P.S. I'm running the server without an active cooling, turning it on for up to 5 minutes to not overheat, so maybe it's not enough time for the BIOS to load?

So the board isn't "posting"? Like no beeps or anything. These processors have to be "torqued" to a specific setting to be installed correctly. Have you tried just booting w/cpu 1 installed?

why ? the bundle should be working before shipping, now you can made something wrong and never get the reasons.

but you have CPU coolers installed ?
is your Power supply good ?

Yes, it isn't posting

There's a `POST snooping` section in the IPMI which shows 16. When I remove all the RAM loading stucks on 10.

I've tried to remove a second CPU/reseat both CPUs with a torque screwdriver (set to 1.6nm), still no results

There's a thread from someone else w/what seems as the same problem w/a similar motherboard. Turns out it was incompatible memory. Is your memory compatible w/the system/processors you have?

I have Kingston KVR32N22D8L/16 which is DDR4-3200 memory. It should be supported by the motherboard as I have rev. 2.0 one but not officially supported by a CPU (it supports memory up to 2666 MT/s according to the AMD EPYC 7551 Specs ). Can it be the case?

So KVR32N22D8L/16 is Kingston ValueRAM 16GB DDR4 UDIMM 288-pin DRAM Memory. But it appears to be non-ecc and isn't registered memory (Desktop).

H11dsi-nt motherboard needs ECC Registered Memory.

Actually I cannot find specs about this specific RAM (it's with the L postfix and looks like an ECC memory)

But is it mandatory to use only the certified RAM? If it's the same by the specifications then it should work I suppose?
The link I posted shows the Memory Kingston sells that is compatible w/the motherboard you have. When I looked and couldn't find it, that would mean it's not supported by Kingston for that motherboard.

You don't always have to use Memory "Certified" by the motherboard manufacturer, but you do have to use memory that meets the spec's of the motherboard.
