Price pressure is incredible right now. $0.43 or so per GB is starting to look like the new normal.

Right now I'm looking at one for a fanless HTPC and those are always on the hairy edge of thermal viability. The stonking current draw on these is enough to put me off.

Looks like they were cleaned out of their own stock; they only had a few left when I looked and now they're only showing marketplace sellers.

@OBasel the Intel 730 is a much better drive with power loss protection, slightly better endurance and offers more consistent performance.

Canada Eh?
Good find @Triggerhappy . I originally bought a set of 512GB MX100s to use as a SSD datastore -- Which would of required over provisioning to help with consistency plus the whole not actually having powerloss protection -- but these are significantly better drives for similar money. I wonder if NCIX will pricematch (I have free shipping there)

$25 off with Visa Checkout will save you more than $10 shipping, why bother NCIX?

@wlee , very good point. Thanks! There is a limit of 2 so if you wanted more then that, having to make several orders under several accounts @$12 shipping would add up fast. $25 off can only be used once sadly.

2 on the way at least...

edit: Yup hard limit all orders after 2 cancelled so you would need multiple accounts.
