So far I am very satisfied with mine. Basic, but all I needed was low power, fanless and a couple of SFP+. It's perfect.

I agree. I have started to use them as IPMI switches. Great for that.

@RTM still cannot seem to find them here. I think that deserves a new thread though.

Well I just received 3 of these to replace my 2x LB4M switches. Happy to confirm that these CSS switches work fine with "Generic" FiberStore SFP+ DAC's and 10Gb-SR SFP+ modules.

I also got them because they are fanless and low power. I just got a WD pr4100 NAS (and filled it with 4x HGST ultrastar 4TB drives) to replace my old custom built ESXi/Napp-it/Plex VM setup. I'm excited to go from 500w to under 100w and still have transcoding capabilities because of hardware transcoding.

I just got one of these yesterday. It had no trouble working with the "Ubiquiti" Fiberstore SR SFP+ transceiver that I plugged into it. I have it paired with a US-16-XG for more RJ45 ports.

I plan on actually putting it to use on July 22nd when I host my next LAN. I can't wait for my players' machines to be the bottleneck of my download setup. I didn't see any aggregation settings in the control panel for the switch. I expect 10 guests including me so 10Gb should do just fine for now. I wonder if the switch is even capable of LACP. If not, for $150 it's not a big deal.

Another update on SFP compatibility!

I stuck in a FiberStore "Generic 1Gb 10km BiDi SFP" (single-strand singlemode fiber link to the pole barn) and it works great. I really like how it lists the TX and RX power in the specs too. Lots of cheap switches leave that out. The specs even match my optical power meter. Not half bad!

$139 for 24 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports and 2 SFP+ ports switches is really tempting, I will go through this product.

Mine arrived a couple of days ago - I'm using a pair of 3 metre Mellanox SFP+ TwinAx cables to connect my two 10Gb systems, and it works just fine.
