sorry guys. no Gold 6138P support.
just now i recognized the Artix-7 FPGA chip on the board, now we know the FPGA FW chip is for.

A little update from my side:

My Xeon Gold 6242 seems to be working but since there is no VGA Port I need a gpu. IPMI has a DHCP lease but does not respond to HTTP and HTTPS. Thats common for ASRock boards and means that you need to reflash the BMC. But where should I get the file from? I don't think anyone can get it from ASRock.

Can this be done without special tools?
USB programmer, take the chip out of the socket.
by the way: if the heartbeat LED is flashing and the IPMI LAN port gets IP from DHCP the BMC seems alive.
don't expect a IPMI WebGUI, check with ipmitool or Supermicro IPMIView if you can connect first !

you think the second step before the first.
on the chiphell site they say the BMC has no access to the LAN ports, but on some screenshot i see the BMC gets IP address, maybe this can be changed in the BIOS:

The IPMI gets an IP address and it responds to ICMP and SSH.

在ebay上只找到一个MD71,太贵了……
你有修改 supermicro Mobo 以支持 P-8124 的指南吗?

再次感谢!

8124 is not P-8124,
"Platinum P-8124" is Skylake B1(50653), not working

I still haven't got a GPU to test the board but I can confirm that it works with the Intel Xeon Gold 6242.

I noticed a USB B Port labelled

"AMI Aptio
AQ 91
5630"

Is this some kind of debug port? I'm sure I've seen it somewhere in the past. Both 10G NICs report as Full Duplex in Windows. If they both really work is something for the future.

So there seems to be some really weird stuff going on:

First of all: The BMC is kinda working. It pulls a DHCP address but it does not use any IP that you configure.

I think there is a secret hidden IPMI channel but I haven't found it yet. The BMC seems to be restarting many times.

OR the IP that is pingable is a subsystem for the FPGA but that is just a random thought.

I don't really know what I should do at this point. I thought of reflashing with a similar BMC from a 3647 ASRock Rack board but I don't want to brick anything.

normaly the BMC has access to a dedicated LAN port. if not, a setting in the BIOS is required to route it to the main LAN ports.
its also possible the USB B port is the dedicated IPMI port, expect no WebGUI because its not a standard in IPMI spec.

how did you get to that ?

dump the chip so someone can check if the contents are broken.

P.S: my new toy is working
