With your knowledge and advice, I've managed to decide on some hardware that should suit my needs quite well, and thank you very much for that! I've decided on an Intel Celeron G4900 APU, because of it's up to date Quick Sync codec, ECC memory support, low power consumption and affordability.
But I'm having doubts about the motherboard. Initially I decided on a Supermicro X11SCH-F, but as it turns out it's rather pricy and I've been looking for a bit cheaper alternatives. That's where I came across the Supermicro X11SSL-CF, but would the C232 chipset work with the G4900 and would I be able to run dockers in unraid with that chipset?
