I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of "cheap" 4U rack mount 8-10 GPU boxes.

I feel like a more bare bones offering closer to $1K would sell like hot cakes, but that's really just me being selfish

Realistically that will not happen. The motherboards + PLX switches for these are often more than that alone. They require more PSUs and bigger PSUs and etc.

Selling servers way under cost would likely mean they sell like hot cakes though
