Hello all, i am having problems with 10GB network speed through my XS508M switch.
Main network link is as follows...
Desktop PC: ASUS XG-C100C NIC
8m cat 7 cable
Switch Netgear GS110MX
20m cat 7 cable
Switch Netgear XS508M
2m Cat 7 cable
Server Intel X540-T2
With this network listed above i get 200-300mb/s file transfer speed (20%-30% of maximum throughput)
if I remove the XS508M from the network (PC-GS100M-Server) I can transfer at 1.1GB/s (close to 100% throughput)
or PC-server with a direct connection (25m cat 5e cable) I get 1.1GB/s.
So the XS508M must be the weak link.
Jumbo packets @ 9k, Recv Segment Coalescing ipv4 disabled
Any ideas? The switch should be good enough.
Chris
