I am a little new hear so sorry if this is a silly question.
I have a dell server which I want to connect a NetApp 4246 disk shelf to for my home lab.
I know I need an HBA in IT mode as my dell server runs UNRAID so I just need to pass the HDD though to UNRAID.
I am unsure of what HBA to get. Also, I am not sure what cable I need to get to connect the IOM6 controller in the NetApp to the HBA in the dell server.
I am based in the UK so UK sites to get the parts would be good unless I have to order from elsewhere
I have found this cable but again not sure if it's correct? - BeMatik - Cable QSFP + SFF-8436 to SFF-8088 MiniSAS 1m: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories.
Any help would be very welcome.
