I recently acquired a second-hand EMC VNX 1600 for my lab/testing environment. To clear the previous configuration, I had to reinitialize the array from scratch. Unfortunately, doing so wiped the existing license files.
Since I bought the unit used and have no contact with the original owner, I do not have an active support contract, nor do I have access to the Dell/EMC portal to perform an ownership transfer or download the .lic files officially.
Does anyone here happen to have the base License Enabler files for the VNX 1600, or know of a way to get the array licensed and functional again without going through the official Dell channels?
Any guidance, workarounds, or shared files would be greatly appreciated.
