Hi Guys,

I recently reinstalled my win OS and tried to mount an ISO using build-in windows10 mount.
I'm not able to do it directly via smb share from my NAS exposed by omnios+nappit. I have to copy the ISO file to local disk and mount it.

As I know that the new omnios 151018 having SMB2.1 support, I just wondering whether the old version supports mount ISO file directly by SMB1? Or do I miss some settings?

Thank you.

Update:

I tried to set smb properties:
max_protocol=1
and then restarted smb service in nappit.
Also restarted my windows machine as well.

Now, if I run "Get-SmbConnection" powershell cmd it shows using "1.5" Dialect (was "2.1").
And I tried to mount ISO directly via SMB sharing folder, then it works!

Also tried using another windows machine to share using SMB3, it works well.

Conclusion:
Windows ISO mount doesn't work directly for SMB2.

hope it helps.
