the BMC FW is on a SOP16
BIOS is sop8
both should have a color-dot on the top.
Thanks.

@RolloZ170 maybe I'm asking too much... but I've tried to edit the last milan binary (the board actually is flashed with the last ver3.0 RBU M30_R46) with amibcp and modified the default options I wanted (also added the rebar patch) but I had no success flashing it at all (gives error). Any guidance would be welcome, please :)

I'm pretty much outdated about BIOS stuff editing.

compatible AMIBCP for new BIOS is not leaked(at leats i don't have) mod the defaults, then check whats changed(HxD) and do your changes manualy with HxD.
Do the ReBar patch with MMTool_5.2.x.x, UEFITool does not work mostly.
flash the mod. RBU file needs update of checksum.

I don't remember... tried to flash it with afu for efi but I guess I will have to desolder the ic and flash it (my soic-8 clip is broken)?

afuxxx does not accept mod.BIOS(ami capsule signature). you need to add the RBU footer, set checksum and flash with BMCWebGUI.

I just received this board rev1.0, I'm surprised that it doesn't support ReBar.
I see that the rev 3.0 got an update on 2026. does the rev 3.0 bios support rebar? And if so can I flash my rev 1.0 with a 3.0 bios safely?
I have a 7502 processor.

Not sure about ReBAR, have you looked for a setting or checked the actual functionality? It might be enabled by default without an option to disable it.

I believe flashing rev 3.0 on 1.0 board is safe, have not read anyone bricking boards from it and have not had any issues myself either.
And I would actually strongly recommend doing it for security reasons unless you are using 7001 CPU. I believe you can still roll back the BIOS to 1.0 in case you ever need to install 7001 CPU in the future too.

i couldn't find it in the bios settings.
members in this thread were talking about enabling it through a uefi hack.
but since the rev 3.0 bios just works on the rev1.0 . it should in theory have rebar since it had an update in 2026.
i'm trying to flash it right now, wish me luck.

You will need to patch the BIOS anyway.
i did patch the bios with the latest RBU R47 bios. there's no ReBAR option

correct me if i'm wrong @RolloZ170 said that there's 2 bios in the RBU. so if i installed a Rome cpu it loads the Rome bios, and if i install a Milan it loads a Milan bios?
so the only way for Rebar is to mod the bios.

package M23_R40 added ReBar.ffs
M23_R40_ReBar.RBU and single files M23,R40 included.
not tested, i don't have MZ32-AR0
can i use this bios r40 which is already modded by you? i have r47 bios.
honestly i'm afraid editing the bios myself, bricking the board in the process. you seem an expert on this.

rebarMZ32-AR0_M31_R47.UE.RBU made with UEFITool (try this first)
rebarMZ32-AR0_M31_R47.MM.RBU made with MMTool
flash in BMCWebGUI
remember you need ReBarState to enable and configure ReBar. on issues clear CMOS to remove ReBar settings.
