Has anyone tried SPCY/ES CPUs with the Intel boards for sale from Natex?

I have read that with a current BIOS they work but have seen stories about Intel server boards not liking ES CPUs...

I have a S2600CP2J and it is working well with some old V1 2620s, but want to get power consumption down.. thinking of a late rev ES 2680v2 to replace those two with one...

It's almost the same price to buy one of their s2600 barebones board plus stuff than it is to buy the 2 cpus and the RAM on them. I'm not sure what I would do with a stack of Sandy Bridge servers but I do need 128gb's of faster ram and another sx0kx.

Money likely won't hit the bank before the end of the labor day sale but...

As an ESXi server does the Intel Hologram X520-DA1 Single port 10 Gigabit Network Adapter or the Intel S2600CP2J Motherboard have any issue?

Its my impression or the prices go up, instead of go down, ryzen its out and now professionals have an alternative and an good one, and Natex just increased the prices a lot..... i was saving money after some flops and now im inclined to wait and buy Ryzen after i see the increase in prices by Natex... probably they can justify with taxes increases? cause i see no other cause for an increase in old server parts that now have an concurrent option by Amd, or im missing something and been in an cave?

I want option 4

Nope,
$279.00
S2600CP2J-2650-KQThis one was 175 if my memory don't trick me... so memory isn't the culprit, even so you are talking of decommission hardware, already in their stock... so they made an inventory revaluation??? and decide to increase the price... no no no.. sounds fishy

Supply & Demand I guess. $175 was just for MB IIRC.

Few months ago you could get Intel S3710 400 GB SSDs about $140 or less. Now they are sporting twice that if not more.
