Yea but the Monoprice reviews are pretty good.Picture quality on this sucks (brightness, viewing angles, color, sharpness).
Gave it to an employee to use as a second monitor : P
Yeah unfortunately. If they weren't, I might not have bought it.Yea but the Monoprice reviews are pretty good.
I learned a long time ago not to trust Monoprice reviews. They're rigged worst than most sites. I remember buying some Monoprice branded alkaline batteries. Reviews were excellent but they ended up leaking like crazy and destroyed several remotes and flashlights, etc.Yeah unfortunately. If they weren't, I might not have bought it.
This monitor is doing fine so far though. I have been using it continuously everyday for 7 months. The only issue is the occasional milisec flash once a while. But this also happens on my crossover monitors and has been reported in several others like benq, etc. My friend who also bought one is also satisfied with his.
You used the monoprice 32in in vertical orientation? i didn't think the viewing angles would be any different between vertical and horizonal and i doubt the dell would have better viewing angle if it also use IPS.I'd much rather spend twice the money for what Dell has got.
Maybe I should try this one again in horizontal orientation. In vertical it's unusable due to terrible viewing angles.
How else am I going to fit 3x 32" monitors on one desk? : )You used the monoprice 32in in vertical orientation? i didn't think the viewing angles would be any different between vertical and horizonal and i doubt the dell would have better viewing angle if it also use IPS.

try out the 32in. you can now have this on your desk and sit close to it and still see everythingI actually use a 43” 4k tv @60hz 4:4:4 and it looks great but have to keep the screen about 3 feet from my eyes to see everything. I have a workflow and split the screen into four 1080p quadrants, with an app in each. Something like 37” - 40 inch would probably be perfect.
1- What make and model? For mostly text use.I actually use a 43” 4k tv @60hz 4:4:4 and it looks great but have to keep the screen about 3 feet from my eyes to see everything. with this monoprice, you don't need any software to split screen into four 1080p quandrants. you can use all 4 inputs at once to do that. There is a multiwindow setting in the monitor menu1- What make and model? For mostly text use.
2- What software do you use to "split the screen into four 1080p quadrants.
Thanks!
