I'm in south central minnesota. I am getting close to offerring up 5 racks of servers and their components.

Hdds: ~16 internal 10tbs, bunch of external 8tb|6tb.

servers: Xeon:r720,r710s,r910s,dl580, dl380p g8s,dl360 g8s, 2u gigabyte epyc 24x nvme,
s6500 with 8x sl230s xeon blades,
Xeon Bl460c g8 blades and a few larger blades and c7000 chassis w/10gbe switch,
~4x supermicro mobo diy type systems with dual epyc 1st gen cpus, few intel ddr4 systems, few 4u 3.5" systems with 3.5->2.5 adapters etc.
3x consumer systems with ryzen 1950x (64|128gb).
Some extra epyc sp3 coolers.
A 16port (i think) kvm system.

480volt->208v PDU 40Kwh UPS system with ~12kwh sla batteries.
Another higher kwh 480v->208v PDU system.
5 racks 42u|48u, bunch of large pdus (used|new) that distributes power to everything. Pdus for bitcoin mining. Power cords. Heavy duty racking too. Some antminer s9s and s9 parts/psus as well as a large barn fan and smaller fans (110v). Some bitcool immersion fluid.

Networking: 10|40gbe network equip: ubiquiti router, switches, arista 40gbe switch, spf+|qsfp cables, 10gbe ethernet/sfp+ pcie cards and loms.
Probably missing some stuff, misc parts and loms etc.

Maybe someones interested in the bulk of it? everything?
Also, piecing out too, looking to get cash offers and local pickup initially so i dont have to ship a bunch.
Maybe have some kind of open house idk.
Have to go through stuff and make some kind of spreadsheet and figure out smart info for ssds.

Also, if possibly interested I have some moving blankets and a stack of 4x8 sheets of wood|mdf for laser cutting and some other misc things. Have diy mobo retail boxes saved and psu boxes.

You may want to reach out to /u/sheetmetalmike on reddit/r/homelabsales. I think he is based out of MN as well, and may be willing to do bulk purchases at the level you are talking. That is A LOT of equipment though, and Unless someone is in the business of reselling its a small market for that quantity.

I'd be interested in the 32GB DDR3 modules if they're regular RDIMMs and not LRDIMMs. :)

I may be interested in some 32/64GB DDR4 RDIMMs depending on price. I'm local (in the New Brighton area). May be interested in HDDs/SSDs too potentially if you get a list of stuff.

Quiet little one, we will move everything from this forum even if we have to carry it on our backs.

I totally wish I could drive over from Canada for this.

Yea, if your friend can throw it all into a doc, I'm sure the STH community could absorb it all, or at least price everything so he gets an idea of how much people are willing to pay. He can then decide how he wants to price stuff locally when he opens the locker for the sale.
