Wow I must have been lucky - ordered 25th March arrived 3rd April - maybe it's a UK thing? less waiting?
It wouldn't surprise me if we are at the back of shipping haha, maybe it's because I ordered two as from the other posts on here it seems to be commonplace that if you have ordered multiple units you get put to the back of the pile, that being said I ordered the 12450H units (Since been advised they have changed to 12600H) so that might potentially have something to do with it as well.

To be honest, it'd be great if they just came out and said "Yup, there's been production issues, this is your current place in the queue" as at least then I can gague when I might be able to get them

Not sure it's a multiple order thing as I ordered both a 13900h and 12900h, they were dispatched 3 days apart but arrived together. I think you're right about it much more likely to be about that particular processor.

Probably, weirdly enough I did get an email a few weeks ago from them saying the 13900H units could be ordered and despatched straight away, looks like the lower tier units have more orders which makes sense to some extent.

If I knew that when I was ordering I'd have got the extra cash to get the 12900H as this waiting is a nightmare :D

The confusion about ram capacity comes from the fact that nonbinary ram came out after the 12900 so it is not listed in the spec sheet. The 12900 and 13900 have been tested on a few reviews and works just fine.

How long did tracking say Shipment information received before it arrived? I'm going on 3 days so far.
3 or 4, but a weekend happened around the same time so I can't fairly judge.

A friend's got stuck in customs hell, but mine seemed to breeze through.

Label created April 2, arrived April 11, Western Canada

Just for grins, see if there is a manufacturing date inside or outside your MS-01 somewhere. Usually on most boards there is a glossed stamp showing the day it was made.

Usually in YY/MM/DD format. Sometimes in YYYY/MM/DD.

I would like to see how long ago they were actually made before the unit shipped.

Just an unscientific survey.

Just checked and nada.

I didn't notice one when I took it apart to install the RAM/M.2 but I will double check when I've confirmed it posts and I do my thermal paste

I experienced yesterday the problem with the i226-LM for the 1st time. I have as i said previously, Proxmox and nested esxi on top where i tried to passthrough to esxi one of the 10gb cards with no luck so i work with it by passthrough the i226 to esxi and everything is fine. So yesterday i did passthrough extra the i226-LM and at start everything was seem fine but after some hours hell brake loose and esxi lost networking.
Thank you guys because someone here had said that the i226-LM has troubles in PFSense so i found the problem fast.

So anyone found a solution on this or this i226-LM is almost useless card except for vPro?
I'm using the MS-01 with proxmox as base OS, and running some VM. One of them is a Mikrotik CHR to manage my internet connection.
If I try to use the i226-LM in PT to the CHR machine, it's simply stop works, and I'm unable to get it work. The only way to use it for me it's leaving it assigned to Proxmox, and use it inside VM in bridge mode.

Actually, my problem is that even if I'm going to use the sfp+ port on CHR, both using passthrough for each individual ports or for the whole X710, I'm not seeing any SFP details inside my CHR VM, since they are detected as "standard" Ethernet controller. This is getting me crazy and thinking about come back to a physical rb5009 rather than have a CHR if i'm not able to manage SFP inside VM.

According to your post you ordered on January 21, 2024. If that marker on your board is accurate, it was created on November 24, 2023.

But if the fabber doesn't have all the components needed to start an assembly run, the boards will sit until all the parts arrive, or at least until CNY ended. (or it took some time for the boards to get to the punch down locale.)

If they claimed out of stock after the CNY started, that would mean that these boards were sitting around waiting for the rest of components to arrive. I don't how much adherence to JIT these contract assemblers in China use.....but it appears MF is using DHL for 3-7 day shipping to the US for many of these individual orders.

That means it took MF's assembler about 2 months post CNY to meet a January order. Assuming a week or 2 to complete QA and boxing and getting to the fulfillment center in Hong Kong.

Thats an assumption based on 1 order example.
