Just received my MS-01 and I also bought 3 x 4tb Samsung 990 Pro M.2 ssd. I choose the 990pro after contacting the support to make sure it would work and they confirmed it would since it is 2mm thick (no heatsink). Now I don't know if I'm missing something but when I put back the fan/bracket on top of the 3 ssd that puts a lot of pressure, in fact, the fan is so tight to the ssd that it's not even possible to have a piece of paper moving between them. Did I missed something ? Do I have to put some washers on the 3 screws holding the fan bracket ? That surely can't be good on the long run isn't it ?
Adding to this, they had to put some tape on the screws holding the fan to the bracket I guess because they were too thick :(

And yes that picture between the fan and the ssd was really hard to take :p

So I ended up "patching" this terrible design by chamfering the 3 bracket holes, replacing the bolts with m2x16 and putting a 1.5mm spacer between the board and the fan bracket....
I hope this system to be stable but I start having doubts when I see these mistakes but also the various language errors everywhere "Waring" instead of Warning, etc...
I guess I will have to conduct a pretty good stress test on the cpu, lan jacks and ssd before I can make this up and running in my homelab !

I bought two Intel M.2 1TB DC P4511 and couldn’t figure out how to get them both in together without the fan being in the way. The way it’s laid out is absolutely terrible.

I went to a local fastener shop bought the smallest m2 bolt and three ultra slim washers and used the bolt they shipped with, slid in with a bit of help (not pressure). Now all my M.2 slots are usable!
