This thing could firewall a stadium full of people. It’s got to be the most beefy pfsense box out there!

Yes, your right , its also the only firewall i have used that fully saturates a 2 GB Internet connection while using a VPN. The VPN does not slow down my connection anymore.

I wouldn't have thought it would take that much horsepower to get a vpn up to 2gbps. That said, I have never tried and don't really have the ability to try right now.

Ive also given it an extra 8tb, m.2 , i bought them years ago before the price rise. Now im using it as a cloud service , i like using seafile, syncthing. Also have a few websites on it as a failover, a few different docker containers.

I guess it depends on which VPN (maybe needed for OpenVPN / IPsec), most likely overkill for Wireguard.
