I am looking at these two network switches and wanted to see if the community had any additional feedback on my feature list. My use case is an un-managed switch in my home (pfsense for routing), but I'm open to learning about advanced routing, VLANs, etc.

Mikrotik CSS326-24G-2S+RM
Est. Cost - $145 on Amazon New
24 RJ45 1G ports
2 SFP+ 10G ports
Fanless
Depth - ~7-inches including rear heatsink

Brocade ICX6450-24
Est. Cost - $125 on eBay Used
24 RJ45 1G ports
2 SFP+ 10G ports
Fans, but Noctura quiet fan mod easy to do
Depth - 9.45-inches
Requires license?

Also, if anyone knows of a similar switch with 4 SFP+ ports instead of 2, but still coming in at less than 11-inches, I'd be interested to know about it.

The icx6450 has 4 10gbE ports, you just need a license which you can get from a guy on this forum who hands them out like an idiot. As for comparing them, one is a cheap consumer switch that's $150 new, the other is an Enterprise grade switch with twice the features that was $2000 new - thanks to the magic of eBay it just happens to cost much less used

Aruba S2500-24 or -48 is just past your depth constraint at 12", but very similar to the brocade and even cheaper on ebay...
