The micron I have looks like this too (4GB) I haven't checked my 16GB yet, but the 16gb "for sure" is working, the 4GB I haven't used yet.


BTW - Both sides do this.

I can confirm this. Have some DDR4 in hand. The first time I saw it, it threw me for a loop. Thought the memory was defective.

I recall I read somewhere the DDR4 design did this to adjust insertion depth/force in memory slots due to the typical flex and tolerances on most boards.

I know!! I wish Ih ad something worth buying on the 5x point day, this RAM would have been another $10 or so off!! But I'm good on 16gigers now... oh well, few more days.

Glad to hear he still has some DDR4 16GB sticks left. I thought this would sell out quickly, since I haven't found anything close to this price. ...I am already considering a DDR4 32GB stick upgrade myself (may have found a guy for $225/stick, but short on $s & justification to pursue deal right now). Looks like I need to plan better, and be more careful on my purchases

Just to update. The memory does look like the picture and works perfectly. I have it mixed with 4 sticks of the Samsung 16GB and it works fine. Seller packaged it well (individual sealed antistatic bags) and large box with bubble wrap.
