I'm wondering if this is yet another Blighty Benefit or just the emergent trend of kit getting harder to get hold of, but so far the Micron 4600 client SSD has yet to show up in any of the usual places in the UK and I was wondering if any of our leftpondian (or anypondian) members might have seen them for sale in the wild anywhere...? A cursory search of a few e-tailers in europe didn't seem to return any either.
Given that the 2x00 and 3x00 series seemed relatively easy to come by shortly after launch, it's a little odd they still haven't appeared anywhere and I'm champing at the bit for a couple of the 4TB models.
Yes, I'm aware that other 4TB 2280 M.2's exist but a) I've had a very good history with Micron drives since 2) firmware is easily accessible and D) they have explicit linux support.
