The 16GB seems like a good deal whereas the 32GB could be a good deal if the seller accepts a best offer? On Crucial's website currently 32GB DIMMs are $104 each and on Amazon OWC (which looks like they use Micron chips) are $81 each. Kind of painful looking back and knowing 32GB DIMMs were $67 direct from Crucial last year.

I guess there are exceptionally good for anyone looking for low profile RAM as those are difficult to find.

I bought some of this in 2x16GB just a week or so ago from this seller, and they're working great in a Ryzen system.

Also adding a datapoint - I have a few VLP Micron ECC UDIMMs of the same type and they work great on my Dell Precision Xeon Workstations and on my Gigabyte MC12-LE0. I'm a big fan of the form factor. Bought from another sell a while back so cant comment on this seller specifically.

I "had to" stick with Intel desktop components for my Blue Iris server for the on-chip Quicksync, and then my next server build was similar in case I had to fall back to a second machine for BI in a disaster-recovery scenario. Now that I've had to use a low-power Nvidia card for CodeProject.AI, I'm ready to ditch Intel desktop components for ECC-compatible Ryzen. This stuff was my test for some unbuffered ECC.

A free ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II and Ryzen 3600 works great with it. I also have a X470 Gaming Plus Max to try with this RAM, which should work, but I need to get another AM4 CPU before I can test that one. I got that board for $7, so I'm not into this stuff for much so far - mostly ECC DDR4 UDIMM and looking for a CPU I expect this same RAM to work fine in that board though.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but back around September I'd been trying to source some ECC UDIMMs (for use with an ASRock Rack E3C246D2I in a planned TrueNAS build) so I was quite grateful to crlt for the links; unfortunately my order of 2x units from this seller was lost by a local courier after the package landed in Australia, but the former had posted them out quite promptly and I subsequently had no difficulty negotiating a refund so I can certainly vouch for them.

Looking at eBay again now to try and source replacements I've spotted these, and although this particular SKU isn't on the QVL for my mobo (fingers crossed anyway they work) I've put in an offer for two at 66 USD each- which the seller has accepted:

Will report back on how everything goes, but this has actually worked out cheaper for me than the first time around and if anyone else is still looking for some VLP RAM this might be an option.

Hmm, that's odd. Maybe it's a region-specific thing with eBay's webfront?

The URL I linked earlier is for the US site (as I figure most STH users are from the US), but when looking at RAM I'd been searching from the Australian eBay webfront- with this seller having showed up via a Sponsored link in the 'Similar Items' pane of another listing.

Actually yeah opening the .com link with my Aus IP address now, at the time of writing, it advertises "US $17.71 eBay International Shipping", and then after inserting .au to the URL and reloading the page it updates to "US $19.48 (approx. AU $31.23) eBay International Shipping" which fits with our +10% GST on imports (and atrocious exchange rate).
