as I said, I think 2, just seemed weird to sell as such instead of in single unit quantities. anyways, what happened is I saw he had this listing that expired a couple of month ago, so asked him if he had more he was getting, and I guess he didn't realize it was gone, said he'd check as he was sure he did, and then offered to send me one for free for thanks for reminding him about it (perhaps he found he had an odd number left?). so figured I'd share it there seems to be a demand for them. ~$230ish all in on a sx6036 seems to be what everyone should be doing now (at least if its not going to be sitting in your work area)

I have no idea why, but I bought one and I don't even have a 19" wide Mellanox switch.

I just purchased an IS5022 with rack ears hoping they will fit on an SX6012 although the IS5022 appears not as deep. My 6012s came in an enclosure that fit in a 19" rack and is as deep as a regular Mellanox switch. They only had inner rails; maybe these can replace them.

These rails will fit in the single SX6012 enclosure. The original inner rails can't fit in the outer rails of what's described in this thread.

having a hard time understanding your comment.

edit: oh I see, you wanted them for the sx6012 enclosure, they work, but not with the original inner rails, have to replace it all?

Correct. They were just for future use... maybe. Hopefully the ears for the IS5022 will fit the holes.

EDIT: The IS5022 ears fit bare SX6012 switches mounting holes. 5022s are 60% of the depth.
