Good find at a reasonable price. That's a current-model unit. You can get rack kit for it, or a rack kit that holds two of them side by side. Its best feature is its very low power consumption - 55 watts to 70 watts. Calculated in watts/gigabit, it's amazing.
Compared to the Mellanox 4036 switch, which costs the same or a bit more on Ebay if you are lucky enough to find one, the IS5022 is newer and uses 1/4 the power, but has 1/4 as many ports and doesn't include a subnet manager. I like the 4036 for a big network and the IS5022 for home or a small lab.
A managed version of the IS5022, which does not exist, would be perfect for a lab. Mellanox does make the model SX6012 switch, which is FDR (faster), managed, and VPI, but it's $4,200 new, not including the software upgrade needed to enable Ethernet (each IB port fans out to 4 10GbE ports) and the IB to Ethernet gateway.
