Hello,

I have a 1u server chassis 813MTQ-441CB and the remote hands technician couldn't install the parts:
MEGARAID SAS 9271-4I
LSI00297 / LSICVM01 (LSI MegaRAID CacheVault Accessory Kit)

we used a riser card for the RAID card but according to the documentation we need a remote mount board for the CacheVault kit but there is no more room in the server chassis, my question is how can we install the CacheVault module in the server using the remote mount board or did we buy the wrong parts or is there some work around to install it ?

Thanks in advance.

You dont need a mount board. The supercap can be put more or less anywhere, loose. In your chassis, above one of the drives is a good spot for it.
