I got my hands on a mc12-le0 but the seller does not know the bmc password and I've tried all possible default/standard options to no avail. It seems the only major problem people have is not getting signal via vga, but its solved as soon as they figure out how to access the bmc to update bios.

Anyone know what I could do?

tried the pw on the sticker ?
X/x/ABCDEF 01234
pw is
ABCDEF01234
I have tried all stickers and tried them in all possible formats, removing one letter from one end, other end, capital letters small letters. Tried standard passwords and admin/admin and so on.

If you can boot linux on it then you can use ipmitool to reset the password.
I have tried installing ubuntu on a usb, but I don't think anything is happening. The fans just spin loud, and I see no ip or mac from the lan ports on my router or if I try connect it directly to my other pc, only the bmc ip/mac can I see and access

you run ipmitool from that machine, no ip nothing required.

ipmitool user list 1
ipmitool user set password 2 new_pass

(replace 2 with admin ID number)

does that mean you have no VGA ?
That's a vicious cycle.
I have vga but there's no signal, no output, based on what I could find that's to be expected until bios is updated.

I have yes, exactly like that starting with 3/C/MI7--, and I've tried that exact password and all possible combinations of it, it is located right underneath the motherboard name near the center of the board. I also tried the serial numbers I could find around the board.

I tried running just this
.\ipmitool.exe user list 1
IANA PEN registry open failed: No such file or directory
No hostname specified!

I then tried .\ipmitool.exe -I lanplus -H <adress> user list 1, but was prompted for a password, of which I've also tried all default passwords I could think of but I only get this:

IANA PEN registry open failed: No such file or directory
Error: Unable to establish IPMI v2 / RMCP+ session

bullshit. use compatible CPU.
you need real VGA monitor, Adapters may not work in any case.
I can't find a out of the box support list, is a 3300x going to boot fine on older bios, or is 3600 safer bet as I generally see results on people booting with that

if that could work, i could connect your machine from my place and set my password.
I did try installing ubuntu image on a usb but that still didn't seem to get me anywhere as I still had no signal and no ip showing up on the router

was not clear you have no video.
that was meant if you had VGA display and access to BIOS on that machine.
