I have a small Problem on some Supermicro 1U Systems (SC512 / CSE-512) coupled with an ASROCK B450D4U-V1LQ5 Motherboard.
The PSU 4-Pin EPS Cable is just a Tad (5cm, although 10cm would be nice to have) too short to reach the EPS Connector on the Motherboard
.
I considered buying some 4-Pin EPS Cable Extension off Aliexpress and for the Price (approx. 0.5 - 1.0 EUR / Piece) that would be fine ... but the Cross-Section is either WAY too small or not disclosed by the Seller at all.
This is 0.14mm2 (approx. equivalent to somewhere between AWG26 and AWG25, which is only rated at approx. 1-2 A at 60°C):

Considering I am running the AMD Ryzen 3600 in most of those Systems (and the AMD Ryzen 5700X or 3700X in a few others), a minimum of 100W or 9 A has to be factored in. With only a 4-Pin PSU Connector this means theoretically / ideally (equal Current Sharing) around 4.5 A each, although with unbalance of say 30% to add some safety Margin (e.g. slightly different Crimp = different Resistance) that would mean a rating of each Wire of around 6A minimum, which I will go with 0.5mm2 or AWG20 to be on the safe Side

But the official MOLEX Crimper is something like 300 EUR/USD

I didn't find many knockoffs that claimed Compatibility with the MOLEX Mini-Fit Jr. which is what is being used for those EPS Connectors I believe.
This Tool claims to be, but not sure if it isn't yet another "Trust us" Chinese knockoff with dubious Quality:

Did somebody else go through the same Process ? I find it quite easy & relatively cheap to source the Connectors (Housings + Pins) and the Wires (just need Black & Yellow standard stranded Wire), but the Crimper is very expensive (as usual)
