Machine for parallel computing

Hello guys,

I am in search of a machine for parallel computing and found on ebay these three which i can afford.... I am a little confused so can you please help in which one would you consider best to buy...?

I think that the Dell one might be the fastest but i don't know how the hex cores xeon perform...!

It if were me, I would get one of the two HP's. The Dell is nice because it has more nodes (10) BUT they are much older Xeon's pre-Nahelem.

Between the HP, I'd bet that the L5640 machine is MUCH lower power. Decision matrix:
If you are doing encryption, L5640
If you need more RAM get the X5560. If you need more cores L5640.

There are barebones of the HP unit going for US$499 here.

Throw in the ram and cpus you want.

Not as nice as the C6100 but potentially cheaper now.

Thank you for your suggestions guys i will go for the hp with the 8 hex core Xeons since i don't need the extra RAM and because the L5640 are newer than the X5560...!
