Today i got my 2x Samsung 850 Evo with 500GB, which i want to use as vmdk storage for os partitions.

I created a RAID1 and a RAID0 with the LSI 9271-8i and tested with io meter.
LSI and CacheVault Firmware are updated to the latest versions.

Settings LSI:
Stripe Size 256k
No Read Ahead
Direct IO
Write Through
Disk Cache "Unchanged"

Settings IO Meter:
1 Worker
QD 16

Results:
RAID1

4k Random Read 100% 52480iops 215MBPS 0.3045
4K Random R/W 50/50% 38840iops 159MBPS 0.4088
4K Random Write 100% 29395iops 122MBPS 0.5361
4K Sequ. Read 100% 95664iops 391MBPS 0.1672

RAID0

4k Random Read 100% 83152iops 340MBPS 0.1922
4K Random R/W 50/50% 64901iops 266MBPS 0.2451
4K Random Write 100% 58294iops 242MBPS 0.2673
4K Sequ. Read 100% 95953iops 393MBPS 0.1665

What do you think about this results? I thought one 850Evo will do 4k random with ~90k iops?
