I have an LSI 9212-4i now with P20 IR firmware in my Supermicro ESXi box
If I plug in my Intel DC S3500 800GB SSD, it will kinda work for 10 mins, and then just times out in ESXi
If I plug in my Samsung 850 Pro 512GB, it works forever, but not right:
If I create a new VM, it complains that "Failed - The file is too large" and if I upload a file, and try and move it to a folder, it says "Failed - Invalid Datastore path"
The only thing I havn't tried yet is flashing it with IT firmware
Any suggestions?
I threw the card in my other Supermicro host at home with ESXi 6.7, and I had the same problem
If I pass the card through to Windows, I get full SMART details, and everything just works...
