Last year I bought two Violin Memory VIO-M1-LP PCIe SSDs from an eBay vendor:
Not much information is available on these devices, except some few articles (which read like a press release) from 2013. A year later, Hynix bought Violin's PCIe SSD assets.
I couldn't even find the PCI ID of the card (1a73:0006) in the PCI ID database:
04:00.0 Mass storage controller: Violin Memory, Inc Device 0006
At the core of the card is an Altera Stratix V (5SGXMA5H3F35C2N).
Thus far, I have been utterly unable to locate drivers for Windows or Linux, and these things are a 25W space heater without drivers.
I was wondering if anyone here has ever used Violin products in a past life and could point me in the right direction.
